Mary R Dicklin, PhD is a senior scientist for the Midwest Biomedical Research’s Center for Metabolic and Cardiovascular Health. Dr. Dicklin has 20 years of experience as a clinical research scientist/medical writer with several research organizations in the Chicago-land area. She has published or provided writing services for more than 100 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters and is a member of the National Lipid Association. Dr. Dicklin’s research has primarily focused on lipid metabolism and the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, and she has also been involved in research studies regarding diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Dicklin earned her PhD in nutritional sciences from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
